To use the Rabbit pump, first insert one of the stoppers firmly and completely into the bottle mouth. Next, place the vacuum pump on the stopper, grip the two side levers in one hand and pump the top lever repeatedly with the other hand until the air from the bottle is removed. When you're ready to drink the wine again, simply push the button on top of the stopper and the vacuum is released. Another nifty advantage of the Metrokane stopper is that no leaks occur when a bottle is stored horizontally. The Rabbit vacuum pump is available in a velvety matte black or brushed silver finish, both with polished chrome accents.
