Norpro Cast Aluminum Tortilla Press January 9, 2008
The press is efficient, light and attractive. The picture on the box and ad are shiny and my product was dull, which was disappointing as the shiny press pictured looks very sharp indeed. The important part, does it work well?, is true to form. You won't get a better job done unless you are also willing to go for the heavier, iron model which I also own. For the price and the job, the Norpro Aluminum is fine.

Keeps moving all over the place December 3, 2007
Its too light..will move all over the table unless you keep a cloth below it and no matter what trick you try, you do get uneven flats

This little press sells at Williams-Sonoma for $20 plus a ton of shipping charges. I have to say, it is one of the neatest and most used presses I've ever owned. This SIMPLE press is a lot better than other "fancier" presses. Use wax paper or parchment to remove your tortilla without a hitch (like other reviews mentioned). It so worth it! I love the press and I love Amazon for always finding exact items without the pumped up prices.

This unit simply does not do the job. Press makes irregular shaped tortillas and they CANNOT be easily removed from the wax paper. Better job can be done with 2 dinner plates. Save your money.
