Each segment of the divided lower wine rack area holds 3 standard size wine bottles for a total of 24 bottles. The middle section can be used to hold stemware: there are 5 rows which can each hold 4 small wine glasses per row, or 3 average sized glasses per row (interior dimensions of the hanging wine glass storage space measure 10.23"h x 23.27"w x 12.44"d). I liked this cabinet quite a bit. I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend. It is well made and easy to put together. I like the color also. The only 2 things that kept it from 5 stars were:

1. I have a few wine glasses with a base that is too big (by about a mm) to fit in the glass storage.

2. It is difficult, if not impossible, to fit 3 standard wine bottles in each of the 8 wine storage slots at the bottom of the cabinet. Some fit 3, others fit 2. It just depends on how you put them in.
