Godinger's Shannon Collection of crystal looks at home in both traditional and contemporary settings. The 24-percent lead crystal is cut with a classic Irish diamond and wedge patterning that sparkles luxuriously. This beverage set in the Dublin pattern features four crystal highball glasses, each measuring 5-1/2 inches tall, and a gracefully curved 8-5/8-inch pitcher for mixing. Holding everything together with room enough for more is a rectangular tray, silver-plated and polished to a mirror shine.

Like all fine crystal and silver-plate, the items in this set should be washed by hand in warm soapy water, then carefully dried with a soft cloth to prevent spotting. Crystal glassware should not be dried or stored on its delicate rims. Designed by Godinger Silver in New York and made in Slovakia, the beverage set is gift-boxed and ready to use. --Ann Bieri
