Combining style with function, this Italian-made 7-inch corkscrew is an affordable addition to a home bar. The durable corkscrew is constructed of steel parts and coated with a satin finish that easily wipes clean. A professional-level spiral makes it easier to pierce and remove corks in one piece, while double levers raise to anywhere between 45 and 90 degrees as you twist the spiral into a cork. The lower part of the levers are covered with a soft black rubber coating for a reliable, no-slip grip. To prevent bottles from cracking and wine from splashing during opening, the underside of the corkscrew is fitted with a plastic insert as well. This bar tool has a bottle cap lifter in its oval loop handle, and is covered by a lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Something there is about a heavy corkscrew. It makes things seem right with the world.

This corkscrew is hefty and opens wine bottles without complications.

If you want the traditional corkscrew with quality components, this one is a safe bet.

under normal use and even infrequent use..ours broke and now is useless..wasted hard earned money on this
