Crafted to exacting standards, the glasses are 24-percent lead crystal with a beautifully balanced feel. They offer the taste-enhancing benefits of Riedel's hand-formed glasses without the top-shelf expense.

A set of six, these glasses emphasize the firm tannins and cherry bouquet of Brunello di Montalcino, a traditional Italian favorite. The large bowl allows for full appreciation of the rich Brunello aroma, yet the stem still feels nimble in the hand. Also suitable for Sangiovese Grosso, the glass stands 8-5/8 inches high and has a 20-3/4-ounce full capacity. Washing by hand is recommended. --Emily Bedard
