5 out of 5 stars A "Do It All" Cooking Utensil   September 12, 2007
If I could have only one cooking utensil this pan would be it. It is heads and shoulders above any other pan I have. It cooks evenly and spreads out the heat on my glass top stove with combination burners amazingly well. I could use it for almost everything if I had to from delicate saute to cooking paste. Thanks to the great heat spreading ability of the pan there seem to be few cold spots even when the burner is off center or smaller than the pan (which given the size of this pan is a virtual sure thing). Handles stay cool even though they are metal. Very pleased.

I have the entire set of the stainless cookware and needed a large nonstick. I originally bought the hard anodized version of this nonstick pan and wasn't exactly thrilled with it. I replaced it with this nonstick stainless, and I love it. It heats evenly, has a nice large, flat cooking surface, and cleans easily. So far, it seems pretty durable.

The price was right and the pan is superb. I've sauted tenderloin, king salmon, ham-wrapped halibut, chicken - you name it - and each time the food has cooked very quickly, evenly and clean up has been a breeze. The large size gives the food room so it doesn't "steam" and although heavy, the pan is very easy to lift, tilt and wash. The handle stays cool too which is great.

This isn't as nice as it is cracked up to be. Kind of on the cheesy crappy side. It's ok but would never sell for the inflated price that they advertise. But then again, how exciting can a frying pan be?? (If you have an answer for that... you need to get out more often!!)

I use this almost daily - the handle and helper handle stay cool to the touch even when you have a high flame.
