This 18/10 stainless-steel herb mill minces small amounts of parsley, rosemary, oregano, or other herbs to garnish pasta or salads or flavor vegetables and meats. Place your whole herbs in the top of the mill and turn the crank. The crank moves in either direction, making this herb mill useful for both righties and lefties. The tough blade chops herbs into tiny pieces and deposits them out the bottom. For easy cleaning, the blade removes by flipping open the catch on the mill mechanism and both pieces of the mill can go right in the dishwasher. --Cristina Vaamonde

So easy and convenient! September 29, 2007
Contrary to the previous reviewer I love this product. It works perfectly as long as you dry the herbs before grinding them. It is so much easier and safer (a child could do it) than having to chop them on a cutting board. I recommend it highly.

A complete waste of time and money. The oils released from grating the herbs cause the grated herbs to clump and they remain in the grater. I took a handful of basil and oregano and absolutely nothing came out of the grater. You will need a knife to pick the wet clumps out of the grater and they are unable to be used in your recipe. Stick with the tried and true knife to chop, mince or just tear apart by hand.
