Riedel continues to impress the wine world with its innovative designs. The Tyrol line, released in 2007, adopts an intermediary position between the completely stemless O wine tumblers that set a national trend and Riedel's long-stemmed, more fragile beauties. Each Tyrol glass features a short stem, more of a foot really, that is half of a solid sphere, lending great stability and reducing breakage worries. Crafted of sparkling leaded crystal yet dishwasher-safe, Tyrol is perfect for a casual, more contemporary approach to fine dining at home.

This set includes two Tyrol Montrachet glasses, quite rounded and perfect for swirling to bring out the best attributes of Montrachet, Chardonnay, and other full-bodied whites. Use it for a fine brandy as well. Each glass holds a maximum capacity of 21-7/8 ounces and stands 4-3/4 inches tall. The pair makes an excellent gift.
