We bought this console because we have so many DVDS. It is very attractive; it is also sturdy and serves as the stand for our large screen TV. In fact, we have debated whether or not to purchase another console for my sons who have admired it. Be advised that the console needs extensive assembly--my husband got it assembled in about an hour and a half.
