This is the tool ice-cream parlors use to scoop up ice cream. Dig it into ice cream, sherbet, or other frozen treats; drag it horizontally; and it will roll up a 2-1/2-inch ball. The scoop is 8 inches long, and its head is made of 18/8 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish. The handle is satin-finish stainless steel with soft, gray Santoprene bumps for a slip-resistant grip. The handle is notched for hanging on a hook or a peg. Dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack

Worked Well Until It Broke in Half July 3, 2002

We used this Farberware ice cream scoop for six months; it came free with an ice cream machine I ordered[...]. It worked fine until last evening when my husband was scooping ice cream, and it broke clean in half. Today we bought [a different brand] scoop. I hope it lasts longer than six months.

Excellent buy (but not at original price!) June 6, 2002
I purchased this for...at a Friday sale and it was well worth the price!...I would have been disappointed and would never spend that much on an ice scream scoop anyway!

Again, get it on sale and it is a GREAT deal! Finish is great, looks clean cut and so modern....cuts through the ice cream well.....I really LOVE it, especially for the price I paid!
