I am concerned about microwaving food in plastic, so appreciated this heat resistant silicone cover which fits over a variety of my glass containers. It prevents food from spattering all over the inside of the microwave, and can be thrown in the dishwasher, so saves cleaning time. Can be popped up so it doesn't touch the food, and has venting holes in the top so it isn't blown off by the steam pressure.

It collapses all right, all the time. It cannot support its own weight and drops down into the food. What poor execution of a reasonable idea. Flip a paper plate over and have a better cover.

Mine will not stand up as pictured. I bought it mainly for it's dome feature and the one I received is so soft it always collapses.
