Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com
13 episodes featuring 13 different wineries. Included are the wineries of: Ravensbury Lane, Woodstock, Penny's Hill, Seppelt, Leasingham & Richmond Grove, Taylors, Connawarra & Penfolds Grange, Nepenthe, Fox Creek, Chapel Hill & Tatachilla.

We look at each of these wineries in detail looking at what makes each of them distinct, the wines they produce and how they go about making their variety of wine.

We also look at their location and get an understanding of why their choice of vine is so important and what climate is best for each variety.

We also have thirteen delicious dishes cooked by our resident chef Jarmer to complement these wineries. In series 1 the dishes we have are: spring lamb rolled in smoked bacon, spiced Atlantic salmon with avocado and garlic mayonnaise along with a rich and exotic duck and porcini mushroom risotto. We also have prawns in potato strings, Italian pork sausages with herb polenta and roast capsicums along with a warm Thai beef salad salt and pepper squid, double baked cheesecake souffl? and a tropical panna cotta with mango salsa. A warm salad of black pepper chicken, a marlin steak with corn and avocado salsa and a scallop galette with leek fondue and white and dark chocolate mousse terrine.

Our wine expert Stephen describes the subtleties between the various wines in the market and in our industry segment we learn all about the technology that goes into making Australian wines the best in the world.

Producer/Director Chris Jenkin
