Suitable for entertaining yet durable enough for everyday use, this 20-piece flatware set is made of heavyweight 18/10 stainless steel so it won't rust or corrode. The Spring pattern is a clean, contemporary European design, with heads polished to a mirror finish and handles displaying a satin finish and seedlike beads gleaming brightly where the heads meet the handles. The set comprises complete 5-piece settings for 4 diners: dinner and salad forks, soup and teaspoons, and knives. These are gorgeous! They are very slim handled and light. I used to have large heavy handled utensils and find my new WMF Spring set to be slight in comparison...but more elegant. They are super shiny and the matte finish on the handles seem to show off the shininess of the upper part of the utensils even more. I used one of the spoons to dig ice cream out of the container and it passed the "no bend" test. I think these may last a very long time and I will never tire of the design. Handles do say "Made in China" if where they were manufactured is important to anyone. Enjoy! They are nice.

This set of flatwear is impressive for its sheer simplicity. The smooth lines of the pattern are simple and yet graceful. The simple pattern at first isnt striking, but the more you see it, the more you realize that a bold, garish pattern would get boring after a while. This flatwear set is a classic and will be enjoyed for years to come.
